Before you brief.

Is the terrain accurate?

Sub-25-micron at the cast. The studio samples the Mapbox DEM at 1025², applies a cover-fit crop to the table's silhouette, and lays the heights onto the face's vertex grid one-to-one. What you see in the viewport is what the workshop fabricates.

How is the size measured at the lab?

Mandrel + sizer ring set, cross-checked against the finger's seated diameter (not the knuckle's flare). Ordering remotely: we send a printable ruler — print at 100% scale, wrap around the finger, read off the mm circumference. WhatsApp the number to the workshop and we'll match it to the catalogue. The only shipment is the finished ring.

What's the fabrication lead time?

7–14 days from order confirmation. Gold rings extend by ~3 days for the additional polishing pass; diamond-dust finish adds a separate cast and plating cycle (+1–2 weeks).

Can I re-cast in a different metal later?

Yes. Every spec is archived on the Permanent Digital Profile — submit a re-cast order any time and the same CAD lands in the new metal without re-configuring. Re-casts ship at the standard lead time.

What happens to the displacement if I pick a different shape?

The terrain re-samples to the new shape's table silhouette automatically. Hexagon, diamond, square — same map view, different silhouette. Pick the shape that matches your wear, not the displacement.

How durable is the cast face?

The face is solid metal — same alloy as the band, same hardness. Heightmap relief is sub-mm but cast at full geometry, not etched. Daily wear flattens the very highest peaks over years; the underlying topography is permanent.
